My background:

In 1989 after graduating in Photography & Illustration from The Swindon School of Art, I was commissioned to work with the contemporary dance and ballet students at the Wyvern theatre, Swindon to produce black and white print portraits. This brief involved me during the choreographed rehearsals. From then on I was inspired by figurative and fine art portraiture. In 2005 after completing two years full-time at a London drama school, I started photographing actor headshots and couple portraits and in 2007 I became a professional photographer working from my home studio in the Teddington suburb of London, specialising in performer headshots. In 2009 after starting a new life in Switzerland I opened my first commercial photography studio there in the beautiful canton of Solothurn.

Here I undertook commissions for top tier model agencies, weddings, performer headshots, fine art portraiture, events and commercial product photography. I returned to the UK in 2012. I now work as a full-time headshot & Portrait photographer at my home studio near a nature reserve in Stoke on Trent.
